The Island of Rabbits also known as Isola Grande is about 2.5 km long and is located a few meters from the town of Porto Cesareo.
It is called “rabbit” because at the turn of the two wars it was used by the population for the breeding of animals. Today, as then, it retains its charm and is part of the Porto Cesareo Marine Protected Area.
Furthermore, the seabed of Porto Cesareo, teeming with life, is the ideal place for snorkelling and scuba diving enthusiasts.

The crystal clear sea reflects the landscape that surrounds it and frames a pristine nature with an archipelago of small islands.
